Le chiamate verso i numeri fissi di Tiscali saranno gratuite sempre.</p> <p>Abbiamo provato una chiamata (gratuita) verso un numero fisso italiano e la qualità è stata molto buona. Anche la comunicazione tra PC e PC è stata fluida, nonostante qualche occasionale ritardo nella risposta. E anche le chiamate verso smartphone che abbiano installato indoona sono di buona qualità. Più in generale, indoona soffre ancora di qualche instabilità ma niente di troppo grave, considerato anche che è un prodotto ancora in fase di sviluppo.</p> <p>Per quanto riguarda la user experience, l'interfaccia di indoona è ancora un po' scarna e potrai sentire la mancanza di una guida introduttiva o di pulsanti più auto-esplicativi, ma ci sono funzioni interessanti che non trovi in altri software simili, come la possibilità di registrare le conversazioni e salvarle come MP3 e altri formati audio. Gran parte della finestra è occupata dalla rappresentazione grafica del robot e dell'ambiente in cui si muove. C'è poi un'area che mostra e permette di modificare (o scrivere da zero) il codice di un programma e infine un pannello per i messaggi di errore. Si può richiamare anche un telecomando con cui controllare il robot direttamente.</p> <p>RoboMind raggiunge pienamente i suoi obiettivi educativi. You add your videos (analog or digital), images and any music you want and use the intuitive tools to modify them, cutting and moving, changing order and adding effects and transitions. When you are happy with your MAGIX Video easy video, you hit 'Finish movie' and save your creation.</p> <p>Among MAGIX Video easy's strongest points is its variety of save formats. You can save the end video to your computer as normal, upload it to YouTube, burn it to DVD or send it to a MAGIX online album (although registration is required for this). Among its worst points, however, is the lack of formats that the program accepts - MAGIX Video easy had problems recognizing a large number of my video files in various common formats. There are also some useful tools like the periodic table, an abbreviation chart and an irregular verbs one, plus an international time zone converter, a dialing codes directory, a weights & measures converter and to end a currency converter.</p> <p>Theoretically the most useful tool is that by pressing CTRL+ right click on whatever word you have on your screen, a pop-up window should appear with the definition of that word, a search tool for a deeper definition and also an audio file with the correct pronunciation. The disappointing aspect of this feature is that it doesn't work with a lot of words (unfortunately, I have to say, the majority), even if they appear in the list of definitions that Lingoes has in its database. I think this is a major bug as it invalidates massively the application's main utility which would be to have an always-available dictionary without having to change window.</p> <p>The program leans on Google for the translation function which I find to be weak as many words are not translated correctly or not even found.</p> <p><strong>Because of strange performance issues, Lingoes is not worth using if you're just looking for an on-the-fly dictionary or translator.
